Does anyone else think it's funny that he's reported as having signed a contract with RENAULT?

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to say that.

Lotus Renault have signed Petrov :)

Well Adam Cooper is reporting that:
Quote:
Renault F1 Team Limited has now formally become Lotus Renault GP Limited in the eyes of the UK government

...which presumably means they have changed their name with Companies House

Not that it means anything to what the F1 team is called, Brabham were officially registered as Motor Racing Developments Ltd

I see Lotus "we are not claiming Team Lotus' heritage" Group have finally abandoned their use of the teamlotus.com website.

Paul di Resta seems to the one to drive the Force India with Adrian Sutil. Hulkenberg gets friday testing and Liuzzi is out (quite rightly).

Do you have a link by any chance? I've not seen that written anywhere else.

Kimi Raikkonen will be back in 2012 driving for Lotus

But this'll be the Lotus that is now Renault

And the current Lotus will be called Caterham

You read it here first

There's more chance of Pastor Maldonado winning one.

McLaren: Magnussen represents the future:
Quote:
"Kevin's arrival is really exciting for the whole team – he represents the future," said Michael.

"When you have a rookie come onboard – somebody who's full of energy, who's just won his lower-category championship, and who is desperate to prove himself – it creates a buzz within the team; people share his hopes and dreams.

"From a team point of view, it’s a fantastic move."
:-) :-D :-) :)
Quote:
"Regarding youth versus experience, you could argue it both ways: in terms of learning how the tyres behave, the powertrain works, and the effect of the new aerodynamic maps, the experienced guy will have a more balanced understanding,"
