Sauber F1 Team

After BMW announced they would be departing Formula 1, it looked like the mysterious Qadbak Investment Fund would pick up the pieces. However, with little confidence in the company, BMW eventually relinquished the team back into the hands of Peter Sauber. 2009 was a surprising struggle for the team, especially as focus had switched to the 2009 challenger at such an early stage, and with the team's KERS looking ineffective. However, there were signs of improvement in the last few races of the year as the team looked to bow out on a high and Sauber will hope that carries forward into 2010. What would they give to do what Brawn did with Honda's unwanted? On the driving front, the team have picked up the revelation of 2009, Kamui Kobayashi, and presumably a hefty piece of sponsorship with him.
