Understeer
Where the front end of the car doesn't want to turn into a corner and slides wide as the driver tries to turn in towards the apex.
Undertray or Underbody
A separate floor to the car that is bolted onto the underside of the monocoque. The aerodynamically shaped lower surface of a racing car creates an airflow, which in turn generates a vacuum under the car which provides better grip. However, continuous air ducts are banned in Formula 1 and are prevented by the skid block, which splits the airflow.
Underwear
Under the racing overall, drivers wear a Tshirt, boxers, socks and a balaclava. All the underwear is made of fire resistant Nomex® material.
