Summer Swap: Bloggers and Hosts
So here we are guys and gals, the results of the pairings for the summer swap shop; before you all head off writing for your guest site here’s a quick recap of what to do next.
If you could aim to have your post written by Saturday of next weekend (13th August) that will allow the host site some time to schedule your work. Four sites will be hosting two authors each as we have more authors than hosts. In that situation it’s proposed that the guest posts are split up by a couple of days so that each author will get some time on the host sites home page ready for you all to add your lovely comments. If you’re posting at a site that’s hosting two authors there may be some scope to have an extra couple of days preparation time, please check with your host for when they would like to receive your article.
Most of us have Twitter accounts, shown by the @ symbol before the authors’ name. If you have a twitter account and follow the person you’ve been paired with you’ll be able to send a DM (direct message) to arrange where to send your work. Claire and Jake haven’t given me details of any twitter account, with your permission I’d like to pass on your email details to your host site, however I won’t do this without your specific agreement, if you’re not keen on that idea your host site will probably have an “about us” page with how to contact them.
That’s about it from me, I hope you’ll have fun thinking about your topics and that the blogging community will be supportive in giving feedback on your posts. If you wouldn’t mind, please leave a comment here when your post is up and I’ll “bundle” the links together so there’s one easy to view page with details of links to all 17 posts. If you should have problems contacting your host or guest blogger please feel free to contact me via email: admin[at]vivaf1.com or Twitter saltireF1.
Thanks, salti
